About Us

Welcome to Duet, an art + object gift shop in the heart of the Crossroads Art District in Kansas City, Missouri. We were founded in 2020 by Emily Reinhardt and Sasha Santillan, two individuals with a passion for fine art and design.

Emily is a ceramic artist and designer who graduated from K-State with a degree in ceramics. She is the creative force behind Object Enthusiast, a brand that focuses on creating ceremonial ceramic objects for the home. Her primary medium is clay, and her ceramics studio is located within the store. 

Sasha, on the other hand, graduated from UMKC with a degree in Studio Art & Art History. After years of working in local retail and e-commerce, she eventually met Emily. Together, they created a space where art and design come together in perfect harmony. 

At Duet, we believe that art and design should be accessible to everyone. That's why we offer a carefully curated selection of art and object gifts that are not only beautiful, but also affordable. From handmade ceramics and artisanal candles to unique jewelry and home decor, we have something for everyone.
